Music to Take You Back in Time

If you’re longing for music that takes you back to days gone by, Branson has just what you need!

No journey back in time would be complete without some music from the Beatles. Liverpool Legends has the distinction of being the Beatles tribute show that has a direct family link to the Beatles. The members of the band were hand-picked by Louise Harrison, the late George Harrison’s sister. The Liverpool Legends have performed at venues all over the world including the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California, and at several locations in Great Britain made famous by the Beatles including Liverpool’s Cavern Club and Abbey Road Studios in London. The Liverpool Legends perform songs spanning the Beatles’ entire career, and they also include songs from the artists’ solo careers. The band members are all talented tribute artists who have extensively studied the original Beatles’ mannerisms, singing style, and instrument playing so they can portray the band as authentically as possible. Liverpool Legends is so good, you’ll think you’ve gone back in time to see the Beatles in their glory days!

Million Dollar Quartet is based on the true story of one night that changed rock and roll music forever. On December 4, 1956, Sun Records owner and music producer, Sam Philips, brought together four of rock and roll music’s brightest stars for one unforgettable recording session. Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash, and then-newcomer Jerry Lee Lewis gathered to play some of their biggest hits, and the night is now considered to be a pivotal moment in the history of rock and roll. Million Dollar Quartet dramatizes the now-famous Million Dollar Quartet recording session combining songs like “Folsom Prison Blues” and “Great Balls of Fire” with a compelling storyline that’s sure to take you back to yesteryear.

For authentic country music performed by one of Branson’s best tribute artists, check out Conway Remembered at the Hamner Variety Theater. Veteran Branson performer Mike Walker has been in the entertainment business for over 30 years. His depth of experience and attention to detail shows in his incredibly accurate portrayal of country music legend Conway Twitty. Walker performs some of Conway Twitty’s most recognizable hits including “Hello Darlin’,” “I May Never Go to Heaven,” “Slow Hand,” and many more.
